Board of Supervisors
A board member’s duties include delegating and supervising all Soil and Water Employees to implement conservation based services and programs that are needed in Carroll County. Board members attend some nightly partner meetings as well as monthly board meetings at the Carroll SWCD Office. If you are interested in getting involved with the decisions made at the Carroll Soil and Water Conservation District consider voting for this years candidates or running for your own seat on our board!
Affiliate Membership
Since 1944 Affiliate memberships have helped fund local educational programs aimed at providing natural resource classes to local schools. Many Affiliate Members choose to also help beyond their membership donation and may provide assistance to programming, meetings, and events at their own discretion. An Affiliate Memberships costs $30 annually and members receive a free ticket to our Annual Meeting Banquet hosted every year in the fall. Cooperative Membership
Cooperative members are the reason why Soil and Water Conservation was developed in the 1940s. A Cooperative Member is anyone who participates in SWCDs programs or uses our services. Cooperative members work in conjunction with our office staff to align all property practices with today’s conservation methods. Help us help you to promote conservation practices on your own property today!

Volunteer
Volunteers play a vital role in Soil and Water’s advocacy. With the help of committed volunteers we are achieving great things and with your help we can do so much more. Each volunteer brings with them knowledge and enthusiasm which really makes a difference to the work of Carroll County Soil and Water Conservation District.
