Grassed waterways reduce the sediment and nutrients leaving you fields by holding soils in place and stopping gully erosion. We can provide assistance in planning and designing a grassed waterway for your field. Contour Strip Layout
Establishing contour strips on sloped fields is a great method to significantly reduce the amount of nutrient and soil loss. Our staff can assist in the layout of these strips. Livestock Watering Systems

Tile and Surface Drainage
We can assist in designing both tile and surface drainage systems to minimize crop damage from excess water, control runoff without causing erosion, and drain excess water from the plant root zone. Seeding Recommendations
Need recommendation on seeding rates or species to seed? Whether for reseeding pasture, planting a cover crop, or planting areas disturbed during oil and gas development, we can provide recommendations of species and rates. Forest Management Guidance
We provide resources and guidance to landowners seeking to best manage their forestland resources. Soil Sampling
District staff can take soil samples for producers wanting five (5) or more samples pulled. For producers with less than five (5) samples or wanting to take their own, we have soil probes available to borrow free of charge. Wildlife Habitat Improvement
