Carroll SWCD will be holding a Rain Barrel Raffle to raise funds for the Carroll Soil and Water Conservation District Scholarship. These Rain Barrels were designed and painted by Carrollton High School Art Students under the instruction of Mrs. Mycala Little. This scholarship is open to Carroll County students who are pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Conservation, or Environmental Education and it will be available in the spring of 2024.
The cost the Rain Barrel Raffle Tickets is one ticket for $5.00 or three tickets for $10.00. You can purchase raffle tickets in person at the Carroll Soil and Water Conservation District Office or online by clicking the button below. All proceeds go to the Carroll Soil and Water Conservation District Scholarship.
Ticket sales begin July 24, 2023 and end September 14, 2023. The winners will be drawn at the Carroll Soil and Water Conservation District Annual Meeting at Haley-Leslie Farms on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
We are also accepting donations to the scholarship fund. If you would like to make a donation to the scholarship fund, you may do so by clicking the button below or you may visit our office.
