Thank you for attending the Eggstravaganza!  Below are step by step instructions to complete your pinecone bird feeder and some additional educational resources to help you identify any birds that come to your feeder!  We would love if you shared your pictures with us on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/carrollswcd)!

Your activity kit includes:
  • Instructions
  • Pinecone
  • Wild Bird Seed
  • Popsicle Stick
  • Twine
You need to provide:
  • Peanut Butter
Place your pinecone on the table.
Tie your string to the top of the pinecone.
Get your peanut butter and popsicle stick ready...
and smear the peanut butter all over the pinecone!
Place bird seed into a shallow dish, if desired.
Roll your pinecone in the bird seed. You can use a spoon or your fingers to get the seed into the crevices.
Make sure the pinecone is covered completely.
All finished and ready to be hung!
Hang outside from a tree branch so the birds can enjoy! Take pictures!
